Lore Wuytack, Specialist Collective well-being

Lore Wuytack, stagiaire bij Vandersanden

"I recently started working at Vandersanden one day a week on a project relating to collective well-being at work. Through group training sessions and individual coaching, I help the management put the vision of leadership and ownership into practice. After 11 years as a psychologist, I enjoy being able to contribute in my own way to the success of our family business."

Open culture

Open culture

"You can tell that there is a very open culture at Vandersanden. Through our leadership sessions, we want to start a dialogue about the way you, as a leader, can develop, steer, manage and connect with yourself, your team and your colleagues in a well-thought-out manner - in a nutshell, that is our philosophy on leadership and ownership. We try to give stepping-stones so that everyone, in their own way, can put collective well-being at work into practice. As my father put it, “You shouldn’t give people fish, you should teach them how to fish'."

Everything feels familiar

"I have felt very welcome at Vandersanden in the past few weeks; everything here felt familiar from day one. That is certainly not a given. I can also safely say that I have learned a lot here myself. People here are honest, and I appreciate that. I received a lot of recognition from my supervisor, as well as feedback on the things I should work on. Everyone at Vandersanden has taught me something in their own way, even if only that I should use less jargon (laughs)."
