"As a student, I was already familiar with Vandersanden as a sustainable company, but I had my doubts about it, to be honest. After all, many companies claim they focus on sustainability. Now that I work at Vandersanden, I see that this company really does take sustainability seriously. For example, in recent months, we have been working intensively on the development of carbon-neutral and even carbon-negative bricks through carbonatation. Meanwhile, we are testing the production of those bricks. If we can make that process scalable, we will make a huge impact on the sustainability of our sector."
