The dew point or dew point temperature is the temperature of an object at which water vapour begins to condense due to cooling of the air without the addition or removal of water.
Dilatations are used as a method for accommodating settling, such as expansion and contraction, in a structure. They are joints/divisions that are deliberately created in large facade areas to prevent cracking when the structure settles or large temperature changes occur.
