Industrial partnerships
Our industrial applications RoboBrick® and Manubrick were developed in close collaboration with customers and suppliers. A technical voyage of discovery, in which we formulated joint answers to questions we encountered along the way. We joined forces with these partners.
Combined expertise
We at Vandersanden believe that the best way to tackle social challenges in the construction sector is together. As the largest family-owned brick company in Europe, we have therefore combined our expertise with our customers and machine builders.
This is how we developed RoboBrick®, complete with digital integration, a full guidance programme and a 20-year guarantee, in line with the requirements and wishes of our industrial partners. The resulting added value for them: significant time savings in the development process, a sharp reduction in production times and failure costs, as well as a substantial saving in energy and production costs.
With Manubrick, we realised a system for controlled gluing of manually placed brick slips. This limits the curing time and guarantees an optimal façade finish.

Starship
Together, Starship and Vandersanden are set to accelerate the delivery of sustainable housing across the UK. With a shared forward-thinking approach and an ambition to deliver high quality housing, we are committed to tackling the UK’s most urgent construction challenges, using proven technology and joint innovation.
Spaansen
Spaansen, based in Noord-Holland, devised Gevelklaar, a total solution for completely finished facades. The product was developed further together with Vandersanden.
Prefaco
Prefaco produces precast products and structures for structural work. Its products include reinforced and prefabricated concrete, walls, columns, beams, stairs, customised prefabricated elements, sand-lime brick and e-ton.
Kepler
The façade finish of Kepler's prefabricated houses is made with EPS panels, onto which Vandersanden ECO brick slips are glued using Manubrick with the optimum amount of adhesive. The video shows the entire prefabrication process in collaboration with Kepler.
Partnerships with suppliers
Code Care
Code Care developed the software for automatically bonding brick slips with RoboBrick®. The system detects any deviations in real time and thus guarantees an error-free process. Thanks to the logging software, all products used can also be precisely traced.
WB Automation
WB Automation is a household name in the field of engineering, production automation and robotisation, always looking for tailor-made solutions together with us. It uses special machines, robotisation and product mechanisation to make production processes more efficient. This is how we realised two successful RoboBrick® projects together.
