RoboBrick®, a total solution for facade construction
RoboBrick® is a total solution that automatically bonds brick slips to various substrates, and can be fully integrated into new and existing production lines. We developed the industrial facade system in close cooperation with our customers and suppliers. It includes customised brick slip packaging and two-component adhesives, BrickDesigner software and a tracking and monitoring system.
Our experts supervise the integration of RoboBrick®, from the initial business plan and advise in selecting a machine builder, to delivery of the production line and support in production afterwards.
Fast, efficient and with quality assurance
RoboBrick® glues bricks and brick slips to timber frames, steel structures, concrete or insulation material at a capacity and speed optimally matched to the operating requirements. In addition, up to 60% less raw materials and energy are required. This is our response to the tight production capacity in the construction industry, the increasing demand for housing and the increasingly stringent guidelines on product quality, ecology, and safety. With our total solution, we offer our customers an efficient production technique with a shorter lead time and guaranteed quality. This is because assembly does not take place at the brickyard, but in a production facility with appropriate infrastructure, automation and logistics.
RoboBrick® is more than just an automated robot
RoboBrick® is an Integrated Value System encompassing our products, specific drawing software and our expertise.
- Products: Loose, dimensionally stable brick slips, packaged in such a way that the robot can easily process them automatically, and high-performance 2-component, specifically developed for industrial environments.
- Software: BrickDesigner drawing software, which draws each adhesive bead and brick slip in miniscule on the wall and controls the robot, taking into account windows, doors, walls, tolerances and the required connection.
- Expertise: Our team of experts supervise the process, from business plan through testing and implementation to aftercare and support. In this way, we ensure that everything works at optimal levels and continues to do so.
Via an RFID tag in each precast unit, the critical production data is linked to a guarantee certificate. In this way, we can offer our customers a 20-year guarantee on adhesion and bonding.

RoboBrick® in facts
- 20-year warranty on the bonding and adhesion of brick slips to specific substrates according to prescribed guidelines and subject to installation of our quality assurance system.
- Project with the highest volume: With 2500 brick slips per hour, the processing speed is 15 times higher than normal, i.e. 27.5 m² and 35 m² per hour.
- Per delivery, approximately 3.5 times as many brick slips can be transported, compared to full bricks. In comparison with mortar-based adhesives, a 3.75 times larger surface area can be glued. This results in a considerable CO2 reduction during transport.
- Panels of max. 4.5 x 12.5 m. This can be larger if required.
- The 2-component epoxy adhesive is designed to meet the 50-year durability requirement of the future BRL-1330 guidelines
