A contemporary police station in Emmerich

The new police station has been built in Emmerich (on the Rhine, Germany), in the grounds of a former white mansion. The building was opened on 14 March. The light colour of the façade was emulated by using Haldor Waterstruck. The two-storey building is modern and simple. What makes this project so special and unusual is the fact that it was commissioned by private clients, who now rent the building to the government.
