Utilising only the highest-quality energy-efficient materials, it is built with our striking Hailsham Mixture – a textured clay facing brick, as well as benefitting from an interior feature wall finished in our Midnight Blue brick slips.

Who is Scandia-Hus?
Scandia-Hus is the largest designer and supplier of Swedish energy-saving houses in the UK. Our timber frame homes are beautiful, individual and remarkably energy-efficient, and today over 5,000 Scandia-Hus homes have been built throughout the UK.
For how long has Scandia-Hus partnered with Vandersanden?
We have worked together with the Vandersanden brand on many, many house designs for the past ten years and have collaborated most recently in the design and construction of The Mulberry, a new show home at our HQ in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

The Mulberry is a 3-bedroom chalet bungalow that successfully blends the traditional with the contemporary in a bold new design.
The entire timber-frame house is clad with the Hailsham Mixture brick from Vandersanden, providing a deep warmth, colour and texture to the design. Inside the property, Vandersanden’s dark Midnight Blue brick slips have been used to create an attractive, internal feature wall to provide even more design inspiration.
Why did you choose Vandersanden for this project?
The Hailsham Mixture is a multi-coloured facing brick, featuring a combination of brown, black and yellow tones over an orange base colour. These attractive hues together with the sanded texture of the brick, create a rich and characterful narrative that perfectly suits our design vision.
