Preventing differences in colour and staining in a facade

A beautiful facade is something to be proud of, but differences in colour and stains can undermine the appearance of your facade. Learn how to avoid these unwanted effects and achieve exactly the facade image that you have in mind.

How do you prevent differences in colour in the facade?

  • A little tip: try to have all of the bricks that you need for your project delivered to the site before you start working. This is the only way to make sure that you can mix the bricks properly. By mixing them properly, you will have nice colour nuances without any disruptive differences in colour in the facade surface.
  • If there isn’t enough space on site to store them, contact your merchant partner and ask to have bricks delivered from a single batch.
  • Mix the bricks from 4 to 5 packs at the same time. When mixing, pick them up diagonally as shown in the diagram provided. Open the next 4 to 5 packs before the first ones start to run out and mix them in, that way, you can ensure continuous mixing.
  • What if circumstances force you to order more bricks? Give your merchant the details of the first delivery. We will then do everything we can to make sure that we deliver from the same batch. Keep some of the bricks from the first delivery to one side until the extra bricks arrive on site – you will need to mix the bricks from both deliveries together.
