The E-Board facade panel gives your home a serious insulation upgrade. E-Board insulation panels comprise EPSHR material, which is 94% air held together in a closed cell structure. This makes E-Board an ideal insulator with a very low lambda value of λ = 0.031 W/mK. The system quickly pays for itself through reduced energy bills.

Technical details

If you’re carrying out a facade renovation, you install the E-Board® insulation panel straight onto the existing exterior facade. There’s no demolition work and no additional foundation needed, and residents don’t need to temporarily move out.

The facade panels simply click into one another thanks to a smart combination of tongue and groove system and hook and loop connection. Flaws in the existing facade can easily be compensated with a layer of cement mortar adhesive placed behind the E-Board panels.

Uses for E-Board

When renovating a facade with E-Board, you can keep your home’s traditional brick look. The brick slips are identical to new bricks in their appearance. They can match the look of the existing home, or provide for a completely new and modern look.

You decide how the new brick design will look. All bricks in our range can be applied to E-Board in the form of brick slips. We also have a wide range of mould-formed ECO brick slips – these are formed in a mould rather than cut from complete bricks.

Our brick slips come in a wide range of structures, colours, and dimensions. You can have unrivalled creative freedom by playing with the colour, thickness, and direction. Combine with different patterns or add a little twist in the form of brick slips in different thicknesses to turn the facade into a work of art.

Rules on new-builds and facade insulation are become increasingly stringent. As a result, exterior walls are becoming thicker and thicker. The slender construction of the E-Board® facade system offers a sensible solution. The low weight of the E-Board® facade panels offers a variety of benefits.

The foundation need not be so heavy, no facade supports are needed, and the exterior wall will be slimmer, which means more floor area. And last but not least: you get a straightforward structure with no thermal bridges.

E-Board® for new-build

At ± 35 kg/m², E-Board® is 75% lighter than traditional brickwork. Consequently, E-Board® helps you to build lightweight structures. In addition to flat slips, the facade system also consists of corner slips for finishing corners, reveals, and openings. We also supply special sole slips for corbelling and ceilings. When constructing a new facade, E-Board® can be affixed to virtually any base, including timber frames.
