Over the years Vandersanden has received a large number of awards, both for our products and for our efforts to make our way of working more sustainable. These awards strengthen our confidence that we make an important contribution to our collective wellbeing.

Best Feproma manufacturer 2023

During a meeting of Fema builder's merchants, Feproma manufacturers and partners in the construction sector, Vandersanden was named 'best manufacturer of construction materials'. The building supply chain professionals handed us this award in recognition of our service, reliability — including in terms of delivery — openness and transparency.

Best Managed Company — Gold

For the fifth time in a row now, Vandersanden has been awarded Belgium's Best Managed Company label — and two of those, in 2022 and 2021, were Gold. Among other things, the jury was impressed by Vandersanden's strong sustainability commitment, which is expressed through its ambitions in relation to collective well-being.

Limburg Climate Award 2022

During the Limburg Entrepreneur of the Year ceremony, Vandersanden received a Limburg Climate Award in recognition of its exceptional sustainability programme. "The fact that we received this Climate Award confirms that we are on the right path with our 'Together to Zero' sustainability strategy," CEO Rudi Peeters comments.

Belgian Construction Award 2022

In 2022, Vandersanden claimed a Belgian Construction Award for its RoboBrick® system. The Belgian Construction Awards showcase craftsmanship in the construction sector and highlight just how innovative this field can be. RoboBrick® was recognised in the Product and Process/IT category thanks to its wide-ranging applicability and impact, its processing speed and the raw material savings achieved by the system.

Great Place to Work 2021-2022

In 2021, Vandersanden applied for a Great Place to Work label for the first time and was immediately able to claim the certificate for Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom. "We are extremely honoured to have been awarded the certificate in four countries simultaneously. It confirms the trust our 800-plus staff — each of which are proud of their roles — have in us," comments Eddy Deconinck, Collective Well-being Director at Vandersanden.

Voka Innovation Award 2021

In 2021, the Innovation Award handed out by Voka – CoC Limburg in the 'large enterprise' category went to Vandersanden for its RoboBrick® system. RoboBrick® enables us to apply brick slips to prefab systems and walls in conditioned spaces fully automatically. As a result, we can build more quickly, more efficiently and with fewer errors. The jury commented that we are leaders in innovation, as well as a perfect example of a sustainable enterprise.

2017: Family Business Award of Excellence

The "Family Business Award of Excellence" rewards family businesses that excel in corporate governance in both the family and the business and in the interaction between the two, in the vision and preservation of family values, in the transmission of entrepreneurial spirit across generations, in communication and in social engagement.

2017 - 2018: Ambassador Excellent Family Business

The Expertise Centre for Family Businesses of VKW Limburg rewards Vandersanden with the award 'Ambassador Excellent Family Business'. Vandersanden may carry the 'Excellent Family Business' logo for 2 years. Managing Director Jean-Pierre Wuytack reacts with pride: "This award is a confirmation that we are a professional family business. It is also an appreciation for the entire management team and a reward for all our employees' efforts. We are rightly proud!

2016: Architizer A+ Award

The international architecture website Architizer announced the winners of its Architizer A+ Awards 2016 on 12 April 2016. Among the award-winning buildings is the Shakespeare Theatre in Gdansk, Poland. Vandersanden won the jury prize for this in the Hall/Theatre category.

2014: Build It Award

The Build It Awards 2014 pays tribute to all aspects of DIY and renovation. Nominees are completed projects, products, services and suppliers. A jury of industry experts and readers of the English magazine Build It proclaimed the 'Four Views' project the winner of the 'Best Masonry Home' category or in other words the 'most beautiful house in brickwork'.
